Check out these NRCHA rule changes for 2008

The rules listed below will be in effect for 2008; please take time to read through them to learn about any rules that may affect you or your horses.
 

The adage “always a bridesmaid, never a bride” no longer applies to Porterville, California, trainer Russell Dilday. On February 24, Dilday, riding his great horse, Topsails Rien Maker, finally captured the World’s Greatest Horseman title – but the road to the Championship wasn’t easy. After the first two events, it seemed clear that it would come down to two riders.

During the Annual Fort Dodge Animal Health NRCHA Celebration of Champions, February 16-24, the NRCHA World Championship Show Presented by Bell Performance Horses commands world-wide attention.With the reined cow horse industry growing around the globe, fans are very interested in the competition for World Championships. In the past four years, international visitors have made their way to Stephenville, Texas to watch for themselves.

At AMERICANA 2008 will be add the Hackemore Class Open dedicated to the 5 year old horses. First time Cow Horse Show with the Novice Riders class will be possible (only Reining and Boxing)

The European Reined Cow Horse Association began its show season with the Spring Stakes, the Special Event reserved to 4 and 5 years old horses, to be shown two handed in a snafflebit. The event was held in Verolanuova, Brescia, Italy, in the beautiful facility of Centro Ippico San Giorgio, and was judged by Riccardo Bordignon. The show started on Friday the 21st of march, with the 1st Go of the Spring Stakes.
